JOY!!!

Oh, the wonderful blessings of God! That overflowing peace of heart that is beyond all human comprehention! By God's grace we are filled by inexplainable JOY!!! The Joy that comes by an understanding of who God is and what he has done... and a deep apreciation for the laws of God! I am constantly overwhelmed with awe at the marvel and goodness of God's Laws... those laws that trancesnd all time, culture, human "enlightening" and even "enlightened christian" theologies. When you put them into practice(not as legalists, but as a christ-centered laws, the realization of God's master plan, and his complete GENIUS to all things, puts our most 'respected' philosophies to shame.

Does that make me a legalist? Not at all. A legalist believes that the keeping of the law will save you. On the other hand, we find JOY in keeping the law BECAUSE we have been saved. And when we put into practice the biblical applications of those laws, we soon understand what God had in mind. We all end in one big "DUH". And JOY rings out loud and clear! I could kick myself for not trusting God to mean just what he says and having the faith that God always knows best, thinking I knew better than Him. He truly is Lord over all!

The more I structure my life( in all areas) around God's holy standards, the more I have been blessed beyond measure. I will echo King Davids sentiments:"I delight in your law, and on your laws I will meditate day and night!" Great Joy!!!!
